Single edition Brompton from the Brompton manufacturing manager being auctioned for charity. Pasted from listing! Thanks Daniel Robinson for the heads up! This is perhaps one of the most unique Bromptons that will ever be made!My name is Colin Morgans and I am Manufacturing Manager at Brompton Bicycle. I am running the London Marathon this year raising money for the charity; Orchard Vale Trust (they will receive 100% of this sale). Brompton has kindly donated a unique bike to use in auction to help raise money for my chosen charity.The bike is a S6L in Raw Lacquer with a brooks saddle and Shimano Hub Dynamo, worth ￡1295.However, this is not a standard Brompton, it has a number of unique features. These include:Hand Brazed Decal
The Rear frame is the first whole part brazed by our first female Brazer.
The Front frame was the very last part brazed at our old factory in Kew Bridge before the move to Greenford.
The handle bar support was brazed by our Braze Training Manager Abdul who has been at Brompton for 18 years and trained all Brompton Brazers in that period.To prove the authenticity of the bike metal plates with details of the auction have been laser etched onto a metal plate which is placed on the bottom bracket of the bike.
