Brompton's,
Strida's and two LX folding mountain bikes from
Montague Swissbike.
The Brompton came out on top, with the top show rating of five Gs. The Strida got a one G rating because it was deemed difficult to ride, although Bentley and Romero liked the way it could be wheeled along. Bentley nearly did a headplant when he pulled on the Strida's brakes, being more powerful than he thought they would be
In a previous show, the Strida did rather better, as this YouTube clip demonstrates.
The Swissbike LX got a four G rating.
Romero said: "I think it's a good, comfortable mountain bike, a mountain bike that's got the convenience of being able to fold it up"
Back in the studio, Gadget Show
